What It's All About
Everyday is like a brick we hold
To place upon our paths
I won't let today be told
By those misplaced within the past
We each hold the ability
To go as far as we can dream
We are set to get there
Don't forget your self esteem!
Sometimes we end up far off track
Not sure where we are,
Or how to get back
But if I take each day at hand
Like clay and mold it where I can
I make it happy, because I'm alive to see
The beauty that I can still believe
We each hold this within us
So when life's got you down and out
Just look inside because
That's what beauty is all about

More need this kind of thinking. We can accomplish things with the right attitude of life.focusing on the good things not the bad things. I like this, good for you

Thank you three!!! I wrote this one, after reading through some touching depression poems other people have written.. This worlds a beautiful place, if only people would smile through it, and know that when they SMILE, the WHOLE world smiles back.. Thank you for your support, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
