What's Fame Anyway?
Author: Emilee

You feel like you could touch the sky
The truth is youíll never fly that high
If you reach out your hand youíll take it
And if you give out your heart, youíll break it
Smile over the things youíve been taught
Donít hold on to something youíve lost
And itís okay if your wings just wonít fly
Whoever said you had to touch the sky?
Maybe sometimes the best things in life
Are the answers that youíll never find
And itís okay if you canít reach the stars
Always remember that you tried so hard
At the end of the day
Whatís fame anyway?
You laugh and dance like you have no cares
Despite their looks and despite all the stares
They just donít know who you are
Thereís no way they can see your heart
What do they matter in the end?
You shouldnít worry, youíll show them
And itís okay if your wings just wonít fly
Whoever said you had to touch the sky?
Maybe sometimes the best things in life
Are the answers that youíll never find
And itís okay if you canít reach the stars
Always remember that you tried so hard
At the end of the day
Whatís fame anyway?
Just remember youíll show them all
Though they are waiting to see you fall
So what if you donít make it
You can say that you didnít fake it
And when you fall donít cry
At least you tried
Because at the end of the day
Whatís fame anyway?
