Natural Progression

Matter, they say, is energy;
Constrained by form and mass.
It is bound by unseen forces,
That will not let it pass.

That energy forms everything,
In our reality,
The planets, stars, and living things,
In every galaxy.

But if it's true that energy,
Is the natural state
Of everything we've come to know,
Then let's deliberate.

Do you believe our universe
Had a natural birth?
Did such a process form the stars,
The planets, and the Earth?

If energy is matter's source,
It calls for a debate.
It means our universe is not
IN it's natural state.

If matter isn't the true form,
It can't be natural.
Which means that our reality
Would be UN-natural.

If something is unnatural,
It can't form on its own.
A fact that makes an open mind
Rethink what it had known.

A closed mind cannot see beyond
The scope of its own pride.
And while it clings to vain beliefs,
The truth is vilified.

And yet, the truth remains the truth,
It makes no concession.
Creation was not built upon
Natural progression.

Natural Progression

This is a treatise about creation, which some believe God others Big Bang, others, evolution.
There is no passion in this rhyming poem which is very dry, no scent, scound, or elements of a poem except structure, assonance and some rhyme.
Other than that, Thank you for the read

I prefer to mean something.

Anyone can write about flowers, or how wonderful they feel about mister or miss right now, but I prefer that my poems mean something. I prefer to challenge the atheist community with an argument they can’t argue. Of course, when they can’t address the argument, they do often resort to personal attacks, or overly critical critiques of the poem itself. I have to say, it can be amusing to see the frustration flowing through such a comment, when a Christian presents an argument for creation that they can’t refute. There may have been an explosion when our reality was made, but believing that a big bang could emerge from nothing, explode into something that wasn’t there before it exploded, and cause everything to develop naturally, is a shining example of ignorance.

Barb

Hi Barb, if you need to believe in a higher being, then you AGREE with the subject in this poem. Science wants us to believe the universe developed naturally. But since matter is not the natural state of our reality, something, or SOMEONE would have to manipulate the forces that bind all matter. This, of course, suggests Intelligent Design. Having been an agnostic most of my life, I have dedicated my Christian Ministry to finding logical evidence, proving the atheist paradigm is wrong. I cannot believe something unless I can prove it logically. I believe in God because logic proves He exists. If you ever want to confirm your beliefs Barb, just read my treatise titled: “What Is The Origin Of The Universe?” You should believe because its true, not because you need to. God bless.

Wow!

This is excellent. At last, a Christian with a point, other than "The Bible told me so!" Nice job.
