Do you believe in all that you have?
What are you really holding onto?
Why don't you ever stand up for me?
You keep me confused, keep me wondering....
Is he gonna be there for me this time?
Am I going to be the fool again?
And am I gonna cry?
Will I let him win?
How can you be so empty like you have no soul?
If you really don't want me,
Then why won't you let me go?
I'm lost in a memory
And you are somewhere in between
You once were everything
But now you just feel like nothing
What is this place I'm in
I feel like I'm so close to givin' in
Where oh where can my soulmate be
I'm so young and so lonely
I know I have so much
To be thankful for
But I need a love I can touch
Who never leaves out the door
I don't enjoy a cold shoulder
I need open arms
