The Man Without Teeth

Every human being should be worthy of note
The man without teeth is a marvellous poet
And yet he remains as a stranger to renown
One who tramps on the country roads from town to town.
Gray haired and shabbily dressed in his early fifties he seems rather shy
An innocent person he would not harm a fly
Unpublished and far too bashful to recite
The beautiful readable poetry he write.
One can say of him with words he has a way
A natural wordsmith he writes every day
He always acknowledge those him who do greet
Though his smile from his mouth shows his absence of teeth.
In his early fifties of no fixed abode
The man without teeth is a man of the road
A homeless poor fellow his roof is the sky
But there is more to him than does meet the eye.

It is sad that most people only take the time to see the surface and not the person underneath.. It's a shame he does not share his words with the world..
