The ink blot test I must confess
is nothing more than an unsightly mess
and just a spill that I digress
which my mind refuses to caress.

--

Access to beauty may be denied
as ugliness is lurking by its side
sending mixed signals which can only explain
these recurring curiosities of the brain!

--

It's definitely a cut above the rest
if you put all flavours to the test
and the folly of man is to pursue this quest
when forbidden fruit still tastes the best!

--

There is unbridled pleasure and dogmatic pride
but this study of contrasts cannot be denied
when the duality in everyone has always implied
that hedonism and humility remain side by side.

--

A lucky man indeed to have such friends
although it's self-respect which exceeds all trends
and you're a luckier man if you only knew
that perhaps your best friend is really you!
