God's green earth is on display
to promote the beauty of nature's way
and as we break bread it's time to pray
is there anything safe to eat today?

Robert Johnson was unaware of the approaching car.
As the blues would attest he didn't get far
so if you're at the crossroads reaching for the top
be aware it still needs a four-way stop!

The Time channel runs with precision around the clock
for those who suffer silently from a mental block
that the sole dramatic narrative in your day
is here on TV in continuous display!

The planet keeps spinning on this spot
with another coin put into the slot
and the world will not end anytime today
until CNN has its final say!

--

The clandestine nature of their ruse
brought unwanted cognition and a burning fuse
with the revelation of a top secret find
that the U.F.O. is in our mind!
