Bless the animals of this earth!
God gave them a home of incalculable worth
until a hunter was given birth
to sovereignty over their sacred turf!

--

With the passing of time it doesn't seen fair
as stagnancy defines this hopeless pair
but misery loves company in their union of despair.
The moss and the rock are not going anywhere!

--

Abraham Lincoln was doing his thing
and an orator's skill he did bring
to the club upstairs where the angels sing
upon hearing the voice of Martin Luther King!

--

When driving home from the Pot Cafe
the brake pedal continually got in my way
and if the lack of progress makes me stray
I must be smoking too much hay!

--

Rodin's Thinker was beyond repose
so patiently he sat and tried to compose
a coda lamenting the constipation blues
for a man who had yet to pay his dues!
