When In Doubt - Panic: Poems 1 To 5
28 April, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
Chaos is a catered affair
galvanized by the human nadir
in creating an aura of despair
for a woman and her unruly hair!
--
Three blind mice and one deaf cat
don't have time to sit and spat.
Their ears and his eyes work as a team
when raiding the pantry for Viennese cream!
--
There's no other place I'd rather be.
This vanity project was all about me.
Life goes downhill and it's painful to see
when you leave your highchair at the age of three!
--
The immediacy of panic has just set in!
With this tense situation you cannot win.
There is no thick and there is no thin
as you wear an entirely different skin!
--
From the afterlife came a cautionary tale
on how mummification was destined to fail
and surely the reason his love life grew stale
with bad breath so prevalent on this eternal trail! --
