They struggled through the storms of destiny
for their inherent right to be free
but it was a life that many would never see
as a witness to a change in history!

--

Canned laughter is contagious and a gas
though I must be independent by taking a pass
and be able to do this all on my own
when you try to tickle my funny bone!

--

Larceny plants a desirable seed
exploited by temptation and human greed.
A criminal mind isn't sorry about this plot.
A criminal is sorry he's the one who got caught!

--

This jousting tournament exposed obvious flaws.
Both candidates were revealed to have glass jaws
and in the heat of such candor and moral debate
the black eyes of politics sealed their fate!

--

Graffiti in the bathroom stall.
Graffiti defaces every hall
as insubordination answers this unruly call
with chaos behind the Pentagon wall!
