Choices Made From The Buffet Of Life: 5 Poems

As I take another look into the mirror today
the evidence of my life has come into play
with the sartorial decisions in which I choose
when you're tailor-made for the blues!

--

Incredulous to them that I passed the test
and finished ahead of all the rest
but Mr. Einstein remained a ghostly pest
in tutoring me to be my best!

--

Your aberrant behavior may be a curse
as curiosity is always a constant thirst
and just when you think it can't get worse
this is the reason your moral bubble burst!

--

As they disappear, at random, into thin air
a cascade of improvised notes will often dare
never again to return to this righteous horn
and the beauty of Jazz has been born!

--

To commit a perfect crime it's the ideal place
to go unnoticed and without a trace
as detection is absolved in this cold case.
In a microscopic world they can't identify your face!
