Abandoned truckstop on old Highway #8.
It's forgotten by those who drive on the new interstate
but the coffee's still hot if you stayed behind
with the rest of eternity on your haunted mind!

--

Over 600 women catered to his every whim.
Life for the emperor was anything but grim
as the pleasures were many in a harem this big
until Cortes arrived and ruined Montezuma's gig!

--

An insidious permeation is their sole intent
over those who are powerless to prevent
malevolent forces who have a creative bent
with the flow of junk mail being sent!

--

Waiting so silently at the bottom of the cake
the stripper's excitement could no longer take
the lack of oxygen she needed to breathe
and from inside this darkness she was unable to leave.

--

If perseverance enters this constructive debate
your determination and desire is never too late
when you tackle life's problems in reasonable stride
and any form of delusion is quickly denied!
