Her bright little eyes look up at me
and in the dark of the room it's what I see.
My little girl stands at the foot of the bed.
I count 3 long years since she's been dead!

---

Her son is determined to bang on his drum.
It still wakes up his dear old mum
and such mischief continues to sound the alarm
although this poltergeist dosen't mean any harm!

---

She took her eye off Sonny and let out a yawn.
Just a moment ago he was sitting on the lawn.
Well the sun no longer rises with the dawn
as each new day begins and poor Sonny is gone!

---

Little Eddie set off on a perilous course
seeking adventure from the saddle of his rocking horse
but he quickly lunged forward with such force
that his ghost still screams until he's hoarse!

---

She looked down into the well with haunted tears.
He had been swallowed by the depths and it never clears
away the mystery behind her mortal fears
as his voice sounds the same after all these years!

A Great Poem

Dear Dr Collin,
I am touched to read your creation. You have expressed the ocean of grief through the script of emotion.
I appreciate the lines-
.... well the Sun no longer rises with the dawn
.... He has been swallowed by depths..

With love and compassion
Dr P K Padhy, India
