These Vacuous Pockets Of Our Mind: 5 Poems

This civil surrealist engineer
made all logic disappear
as his vision of oblivion seemed so clear.
The bridge to nowhere is something to fear!

---

The secret behind this natural born fact
has nothing to do with your dignity and tact
but in the play called life it's the missing act
when the opposite sex is so hard to attract!

---

Misery was manifested by their choice
with the benign seduction of an alluring voice
and the vices are many in a list this long
when you download the world's most dangerous song!

---

It's a scary proposition this propriety
of thoughts we contain so exclusively
when the nature of the beast is holding court
and is unwilling to compromise or simply abort!

---

The flowers have withered in the vase
and time has exploited these man made laws
with little consideration for the cause
behind an undiscovered body and its dramatic pause.

Excellent

Dear Dr Colin,
Your poetic expressions swing like clouds in the sky.I deeply appreciate your art of rhythm. The poetic lines ... the flowers have withered......an undiscovered body and its dramatic pause, spell out the mystic expression.
Regards
Dr P K Padhy, India
