This Paralytic Conditon Of Sadness: 5 Poems

With the remembrance of what happened in the past
sad songs are always destined to last
and the sun it seems has permanently set
leaving us with these sentiments of sorrow and regret!

---

That pretty blue bow accentuates your hair.
It reminded me of the time you didn't have a care
but now you look so calm and oh so fair
in this stillness of eternity which is too much to bear.

---

Sad old dog dosen't bark any more.
He wonders what his confinement is for
as this window offers a tantalizing view
of a carefree life that he once knew.

---

With similar circumstances we're here to stay.
We have no choice but only to obey
these rigid guidelines of each passing day
and it's here among you that I must lay!

---

This little girl stands out in the cold!
Sometimes children don't do what they're told
and without a guardian or a hand to hold
she hasn't aged but she's 70 years old!

your poem is food for thought...

Sadness kills slowly. Our hearts stops beating and suddenly we find out we have already died though we might think we are alive.
