We Live To Love For Another Day: 5 Poems
21 November, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
The facade behind my youthful skin
is 90 years of nightly sin
and I thirst for blood as your family grew.
I've loved your mother and your granddaughter too!
---
This harmony is a blessing and only reneges
upon the threat by those with two legs
and we're sorry to all humans about the snub
but Friends of the Forest is a private club!
---
Around the world we formed one link
with a network of sentiment that made us think
a small act of kindness can help us sustain
the love which unites this human chain!
---
The level keeps rising and so does the tide.
It seems that providence is on your side
precipitated by a smile from the heavens above.
You are just being flooded by another facet of love!
---
In your flight to the top it will be a tight squeeze.
The music is loud with no room to sneeze
and it's an elevator ride they're so eager to please
when a mariachi band have this moment to seize!
