Four Flowers And A Jerk: 5 Poems

The wilted flowers found strength in their stem.
She had brought back hope to all of them
by waving her aura like a magic wand
and promising these perennials with a life beyond!

---

Stanley loved her until the day she died
but it was a gift of flowers in which he never complied
and without this beautiful gesture she felt denied
unaware he lay roses by her side.

---

Those nasty flowers talk back to me.
They think I am a silly bee
but they don't know I suffer unequivocally
from the side effects of LSD!

---

In a field of daisies the young men lay
but its natural beauty can only betray
what their eyes shall no longer see
on this bloody day in history!

---

You've made this look like easy work
and all the while you manage to smirk
although a moral code is what you shirk.
The thin line between attitude and being a jerk!
