You Can't Be Lost When You Were Never Found

you can't be lost
when you were never found
it's too hard to pick up the pieces
when you can't even get off the ground

you can't get yourself together
when everybody around you is a mess
you'll never be okay
secretly to myself i confess

you can't undo all the mistakes
that have been made
all the wrong roads i've went down
in this game of life that's been played

i always wanted more
and i always thought i'd get my chance
but the years just pass me by
and i still don't understand what i'm here for
