Changing Tides
26 August, 2012
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

In a world of hurt and double meanings
The rivers onward roll
Each day in some direction
Moods find their ebb and flow

Continuing to look for an answer
Where there is none to be found
Searching for lightening and rainbows
When your feet can't leave the ground

Tomorrows become yesterdays
Dreams turn to mist and disappear
The paths we walk change direction
Circling us far and near

No magic left to hope for
Only shriveled and wilted leaves
Silver is just another shade of grey
The heart knows what it perceives
