No Exceptions

In the world within our minds
We want to believe
That an end never comes

Then it happens...

Dreams are shattered in a brief moment
The walls built for years, come crashing
You are forced to face reality

The reality that the end is inevitable
That all things have an expiration date
And that we are not exempt..

Powerful

It's sad, but so true. Dead-end or shattered dreams will make anyone fall in the state of depression. It's a lot of hard earned work gone to waste due to something that's beyond your control. If that makes sense.

Lovely poem Dreamer.
