My minds in a knot
That cannot be forgot
I'm reminded any time that we talk
You complain
Sun or rain
Remaining victim in scene
Forever covered in pain
We all know you're in need
I can only try to lead you
To deal with what's dealt
The cards are all faced
Not all of them felt
You allow yourself to impede
Drown in pity and melt
'Oh poor me' look here, see
I'm leaving you right where you've knelt
Enough of my empathy
Has been used up on you
It's too tough on me mentally
And I know you'll get through
I love you wholeheartedly
But goodbye now
That'll do
