Youth, Not For The Young
22 September, 2017
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

So busied life becomes
Life given to the young
those not to enjoy
nor to recognize
the fun that's left undone

Oh, to be once again the youth
The limbs, no pain, ages truth
Such fun we'd have
spinning in the sun
fields of flowers, faces to the sky

Silly drunken fallacies
As if any differences youth anew would make
Abandon of realization of tomorrows
would still abate the mind
So sad, the wastefulness of youth would still be

------- Author's Notes -------

As we grow older we always look back and think if only we were young again... But only with the knowledge we have today could that ever be achieved.. yep that's why this is Dreamer's Reality ;)
