I Am Poetry
16 August, 2003

I am the words that stole your heart,
The song that tore your world apart.

I am the verse that won your soul,
The melody that makes you whole.

I am the one who fills your world,
The future that you see unfurled.

I am your life, your destiny,
I'm all you need, I am poetry.

uhh

Leah, I think he's speaking from poetry's perspective there, not his own. I think that's a way to say there's a poem for every situation in life. Just my take.

Yes it is truly...

Yes it truly was from poetry's perspective. Reading it again, it is very inspiring. Just a reminder how words put together so poetically can touch another person's soul. Mark Spencer you have great poems...
