Good Christian

You say you’re a good Christian,
That’s the story that I heard.
But you act like you know everything,
And we should hang on every word.

You look at those around you,
With judgment in your eyes.
Thinking you have all the answers,
And claiming to be so wise.

You point an accusing finger,
At those who don’t comply.
You tell them Hell awaits them,
The moment that they die.

You act like you’re above it all,
Like you’re somehow free of sin.
And if we don’t act like you,
You stand ready to condemn.

Does God really pass judgment,
Or is that all untrue?
Can Jesus really save us,
Or did they leave that to you?

You say you’re a good Christian,
That is what you declare.
But it’s very hard to see that,
Through your accusing stare.

Bad Christian.

When a bad Christian wants to look good in front of their peers, or when they want to feel superior, they act in this fashion. Whatever you do, do not listen to them! A good Christian will only offer information. A bad Christian will try to force it on you, with threats of Hell and judgment for not listening. One such as this will only lead you to destruction. Judgment is God's and God's alone. Only He can lead you to salvation. No man or woman can lead you to YOUR salvation. You should, however be open to all the insights offered by anyone who shares their experiences with you, whether they be Christian or not. Their information could help you better navigate the path that stretches out before you.
