My Golden Years

I'm not a man of many words,
God knows that is true.

For word have not been written,
To express my love for you.

You've been my friend most of my life,
You've helped me through my tears.

I am blessed to have you for my wife,
To share my golden years.

This poem was written for Jim Henderson who was married to Vera Starr on April 19th 2003. They had been friends for 48 years before marrying.

Nice.

Yeah, this is cool. I read the other one too. The Second Time Around. You wrote their vows huh? That's really cool.
