I Saw Elvis In Jamaica
16 March, 2003
Author: Mark Spencer

On the island of Jamaica, he was lying in the sand.
Sipping from a cocktail and trying to catch a tan.

He looked a little older and he had gotten slim.
But there was no mistake; I knew that it was him.

I saw Elvis in Jamaica, soaking up some sun.
Doing a little surfing and having so much fun.

He changed his name to island Joe and he's working on a book.
And if you don’t believe me, come down and take a look.

Everyone can hear him sing, he'll take requests if you wish.
But I like his new one: You Ain't Nothin' But A Fish.

So come down to the tropics and see what you can see.
If you look for island Joe, this is where he'll be.

You’ll see Elvis in Jamaica, lying in the sand.
He’ll sign some autographs, and then he’ll shake your hand.

He’ll take you on his surfboard, and let you read his book.
Tell those who don’t believe you, come down and take a look.

Just call your travel agent, and buy a ticket right away.
Don’t forget your camera, come see island Joe today.

They’ll give you a free tour book, and photos of the king.
You’ll see Elvis in Jamaica, come down and hear him sing

I Saw Him Too!

I saw Elvis too! He's visiting Santa Cruz! And if you don't believe me, just go there and see! He asked me about you, and said he was doing fine. He said you visited Jamaica, and that you had a good old time.

I .......... L O V E .....The King Of Kings, .Elvis, was a postman.

His spiritual roots, his fame, the flame that was his doom. Yet, still, He was the greatest entertainer of them all! Loved his mother, who didn't like rock & roll. Amazing Grace, to me, that is his claim to fame and well deserved. I've never heard it sung better, by any other! The KING, lives on, delivering the mail, from the King of Kings!

Thanks Mark
