Loving You Always

I miss your glowing eyes
Your warm heart and your sweet embrace
I miss going home at night
And seeing you're loving face

I still yearn for you, I think I always will
For your warm hugs, and unconditional love
I think of you everyday still
I wish I could see you there, up above

I'm missing all the things you did for me
Missing the way we'd laugh and cry
I wish the day had never come
That day we had to say goodbye

I still talk to you, through the stars
I ask you things, and wish you well
I still wonder about where you are
Being here without you, is like being in hell

I wish I could thank you, just one last time
For all the things you've taught me and done
I wish for everyone to have a mother like mine
I love you Mom, and I miss you a ton

Wow, what a beautiful poem. I absolutely love the line " I still talk to you, through the stars " I read this one a few times, and it's more beautiful each time i read it. You're very talented.

Shan....this is lovely...

i hear and feel exactly what your heart speaks...lost my mom 3 years ago....the loss of a mother is unbearable even in time during her birthday/mothers day (your birthday) and holidays you miss her and lose her all over again...hang in there, have you ever noticed how the stars seem to shine brighter when you speak ? (our mothers eyes taking a peek)..loved it...Terrie*
