I'm Your Strength

Sitting on your floor
with the fire at your side
You hug your legs in more
wishing you could hide
Silently I watch you
follow snowflakes from the sky
Crying wishes are flying out
and snow reflecting off your eyes
Next to you I try to stand tall
To be someone which you can lean
Someone to catch you when you fall
Someone to help you reach your dreams
If I could, I'd fix it all
Every tear and every scream
I'd take your fears and trick them all
No more glare, A whole new scene
I know that you can feel me here
You see me when you close your eyes
I know you see me in your stare
But I'm in a place where noone dies
A place that you will one day see
The esctasy in which an angel flies
Til that day, next to you is where I'll be
So take my presence that you feel
and use it to push yourself through the day
I know the love you have for me is real
That's how I know we'll be together again someday
Until that day I hold you tight
Guide you through your path in life
Make pain subside, and give you sight
At least enough to stay real inside
