Waste

This pen is innocent, but it represents everything that I've meant to be said
These words are for all the pain I've bled
I'm writting in red to make sure you see what I've said
I've been cringing in my position, I'm forbidden to get rid of these thoughts
Wishing to let them go, but they take over from head to toe
Remaining the same, they sit and rot out my brain
No way to tame, can't win in this game
I'm forced to be more ashamed of my ways
Only wishing for brighter days instead of this daze
It's crazy the way I let you phase me
You havn't been a mother, that's just what you've claimed to be
And this just came to me
Because of you I became the frame you see
But my aim is to make you believe in me
Instead of you leaving me in my sin
You've never helped me to win
How could you face yourself after leaving your kin
That is just sickening
I wonder all the time if you're really listening
Can't you see me glistening for your touch
Oh how I'd love a mother so much, sure you're physically here
But you hide behind your fears that get in your way
When I was little I was hoping it would go away
But in dismay you delay to do what is right
And continue to baist away until another day
Dont you know that what you do hurts
All the visions of drugs, and the way you curse
Lets reverse and you can reimburse me
Immerse through all the diversity and let me see
The mother I know you can be, and maybe through the scene
We can start over and forget how things have been
I'm not trying to be mean, but you need to hear me
I need to make you see what you've done to my self esteem
The violent way you make me scream to be able to achieve
But I havn't be able to perceive any relief
Or any way to communicate, except with a tear in the face
And a fist in the wall of this place
It's a disgrace, and I just wanted to give you a taste
Because for everything I am, makes me wonder about what you made me waste
