I'm Leaving You

Today is different somehow, it's just not the same.
I fear you have left me, quietly and quickly just like you came.
Could this be the end of my pain and all my fears?
Could it be a start to a life with less tears?
I've learned to love the way you treat me,
even though i know it's not how things should be.
You come home drunk, ramble and stumble to bed..
If I'm quiet enough, you'll forget I exhist maybe you think me dead.
Today when you woke, you didn't even look me in the eyes
Was this your sad way of saying your goodbyes?
Should I be happy your gone, and hope you don't come back?
Or should I continue trying to fix the things you've told me i lack?
I'm moving on with my life now, not taking any more crap
I'm going to be who I want to be, no more little miss sap
So go on your way, I'll be just fine
the pain you have cuased me will all pass with time.
I wish you the best in your years to come
just promise that you'll remember me some
becuase I could never forget the way you treated me
I hope you know that, and treat your loves from now on like they should be.
