Stolen away is just a moment
Of joy let felt, once restrained
Lost in the music of another heart
My heart joined in refrain
The lyrics of a Wizard
Sang healing to my soul
With happiness found in his words
There was pain, yet joy was in control
Amazing how just a smile
And kind word can touch the heart
And how a moment with strangers
Can be a friendship yet to start
And for a time the music takes you
Far and away to a different land
With the same words, only different
Penned by a different hand
And as the magic spell was weaved
Something new was felt
A strength within was given back
No matter what hand had been dealt
When I think back now of that night
When the Wizard's eyes met mine
I can remember that life has good times
And the moments... are mine to find

Sometimes happy times are few and far between. Taking the time out to remember who you are and what you like, can bring life back into perspective for you. Always take the time to be who you are. And for the moment...its yours |
