Day In, Day Out
1 October, 2002
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

Day in, day out, repeat
The white noise of reality
as time passes by

Forever seems the rut
Of life's responsibilities
A journey to nowhere

To tolerate a life
made up of inconsequential activities
too much, yet nothing to do

Closing my eyes once again to sleep
Before starting a new day of sameness
Where there's still hope for a change

day in,day out

when we are at our weakest we put out words painfully to share our thoughts and end up with hope puting things in their proper file. Your poem touches my heart and it reflects like mirror of my new image for the sun to shine on
