My Hardest Decision

I can't imagine anyone going through what i am now
Torn between two hearts and I don't know how
One is my best friend, and wants nothing more
The other is a girl with which I'm not sure
One is a hopeless journey that will never occur
While the other could be everything I've been waiting for
But it seems like neither have the feelings I do
Yet my heart seems to know that one will treat my true
But both are always in my head, my thoughts and my dreams
Even though one will never happen, or so it seems
I can't simply put these feelings away
Because these are the kinds that are here to stay
I know this because these emotions are real
Some that people wait a lifetime to feel
But they are here with me now, and tearing me apart
Because day by day they seperate my heart
And my heart won't heal 'till I choose one to love
It seems like a task that should be done by God above
He gave me these feelings so I could realise
My true love to share, that I always keep inside
But why oh why did he make it so tough?
I can't stand it anymore, enough is enough
Yet I still can't seem to make up my mind
About which love I will end up leaving behind
So I'm begging you both, please say how you feel
Because I can't help but know that these feelings are real

In the midst

Hey there Brett!! So you're stuck between two gals------sounds tough Brett! But, the one who stands the test of time, as Clive posted, (a poet on this site), then that person will prove the one who will be right for you!! Keep your head up and don't get discouraged! Your heart will mend and heal------ <snip>
