Author: Andrew James Ball
Life whispers to us in our sleep,
For in a dream we can understand what it means.
In a dream we can see ourselves as we wish,
And see strange and wonderful things happen,
Even horrible things that haunt our thoughts,
But it is only a dream and canít be real,
Or so we think every time we fall asleep.
When weíre little we see things all around,
That most people canít,
And weíre told that what we see is our imaginations,
And thereís nothing in the night,
Thatís not there in the day,
But what if that is a lie,
And there are things that go bump in the night.
Just remember that when you fall asleep,
And you dream,
Its only life telling you that we are not alone,
And that there is a lot of things here,
That we still donít understand.

When I was a kid, I used to think all sorts of supernatural, imaginate things... Like the dryer disconnecting itself from the wall and coming to my room... Man, I was one paranoid child... Thank God I sort of grew out of that stage......ahahahaha.... I like your dream-like poem! Great one Andrew James Ball! Smiles, Meri
