A World Inside My Heart

…And in a world far away,
Where pain nor death will touch the day,
Where trees grow old,
But never die,
Where winter’s cold
Will warm the hearts,
And bring together,
Loves apart.

In a world where light reigns queen,
Where there is no shame and there is no need,
Where joy is abound,
And all that counts,
Is the love you feel towards me.

Yet in this world where we live,
They won’t allow us to be free,
And they will chain our love to guilt,
Until our fragile love does wilt.

But you can always reach a part,
Which they can’t brake, and they can’t grasp,
Yes, you my love, just have to ask,
And we’ll escape from our unkind past
To that world inside my heart.

Thank you Terrie, it's always good to know that someone reads my poetry, it's even better knowing the fact that it can make someone's day better in some way.

Love
