The Feeling In My Heart

Light And Dark,
Stay away from my heart.
I shall not love or hate,
Feel anger or joy,
Just stay away.

I do not wan’t to deal with you,
For I have learned of what good and evil shall bring,
One brings eternal happiness,
And the other comes cloaked in joy,
But brings only suffering.

I do not want to suffer,
Nor do I want to always be happy,
All I want is to live a little of both,
But neither shall bring me that,
So I say,
Stay away.

I have found that living in a different world,
Where neither can both truly live,
Is where I’m the happiest,
For it is both that mix together,
That makes Earth.

This is where I love to live,
For both can enter my life,
Instead of one or the other,
So I say,
Stay away from my heart,
Please don’t make me tear you both apart.

good poem

i like both...light and dark
on those day when I'm dark
I write my poems from my heart
and on those days when it's light
I just write a poem that makes things bright
and when I feel the both in one day
away from my damn computer I stay....lol
LOVE YA POEM

You described the way I feel sometimes. Just leave me alone, let me live the way I want, alone and happy. thanks for describing what I feel too.
