Love Me Anyway

All these years you've faulted me
for everything you've failed to be
It has altered every dare to dream to stand as fear
Now hear me scream
I've numbed your touch, and blurred your words
I'll say it now, before it's worse
I'm not done, until I burst
And show my pain here, at it worst
I'll hold you through the sound of truth
Somehow I'll get it through to you
I've found all I can stand, it's true
On the grounds of what you've put me through
You say I'm the weight that's on your chain
You say I'm worth the hate and blame
Why can't you throw that all away
and love me anyway
-Please-
Just love me anyway

I understand, and I'm sure they really do love you anyways. Great poem.
