Master Of The Nightingales

I
A man standing by the shore,
Playing to the tide with his violin;
With each note that’s played,
With each note he asks,
He begs the sea to return his love.

II
A woman sits on a autumn meadow,
She sits and regrets she regrets and sings;
And with each song she intones,
Which each song she dreams,
Of an old love that wasn‘t meant to be.

III
A mother is seen by a marble-stone,
Walking away without glancing back,
And with each step she takes,
With each step she yearns,
To see her boy’s face just one more time.

IV
A young man in the city streets,
Wanders about and cries aloud,
And which each cry that’s heard,
Which each cry he mourns,
A world to which he belongs no more.

~*~

A wraith lurks behind a glowing gateway,
His fingers move about,
weaving despair,
He has caused the hurt to those before him,
They are his nightingales,
They sing of his pain.

This is a poem close to my heart, and has a lot of symbolism.

im sure it means a lot to you. with symbols that only you know. but the way that it was put. it was just ... good. and it gave me the idea. which i give to you. why dont you ... how do you say, extend it? like. for each chapter (or so it seems that way) shall i say each stanza? make a little story to it. maybe not to this one.. but another? your a good writer.. nice job. :)
